Maverick Entertainment Analyst, Macall Mensah has been named as the host of the third edition of the Rigworld Training Centre (RTC) Western Music Awards slated for 11th May, 2019.

Popularly known on air as ‘ The Axeman,’ Macall will be the third host of the red carpet, a setting that precedes the main event. “With all the qualities that the organizers look out for in hosts of red carpet, Macall stood tall this year during the event department’s selection of the red carpet host.

Even before, Macall was suggested by the board members as their preferred host during their sitting this year with solid reasons why they think he best fit that role” Nana Kwesi Coomson, the Public and Media Relations Officer of Westline Entertainment, organizers of the awards revealed.

“Aside projecting our Artistes to the world via the awards, we are also projecting other talents in the region to the world through categories like Radio DJ of the year, Entertainment Review Show Host of the year as well as our Masters of Ceremony and red carpet hosts. In this regard, we hardly repeat hosts of our red carpets and the main event” Nana Kwesi Coomson added.

Macall Mensah who is a media personality who hosted ‘Sports Breakfast Show’ on the defunct Melody FM for close to one year will host over 400 people on the red carpet for a period of one hour thirty minutes before the main show starts.
