CEO of Dreams Football Club, Kurt Okraku has been elected as the new Ghana Football Association President after several months of back and forth to decide who leads our football.

The election which was contested by six candidates including the masses favorite George Afriyie had to go to the second round after Mr. Kurt Okraku scoop 44 votes with George Afriyie bagging 40 votes in the first round.

Other competitors in the presidential race were Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Amanda Clinton and George Mensah.

With the runoff which was contested by only three candidates which had the likes of Mr. Kurt Okraku, George Afriyie, and Nana Yaw Amponsah, Mr. Kurt Okraku bag 59 votes which automatically places him as the new elected GFA president.

Mr. Kurt Okraku becomes the new President for the new GFA after former GFA President, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi was ousted following a documentary that showed he used his office for his own personal benefits.
