Fast rising Ghanaian songstress, Wendy Addo, popularly known with stage name as Wendy Shay has made an interesting revelation on how serious she took music and wanting to do it on a professional basis after meeting the late Ebony Reigns.
Wendy Shay who “replaced” Ebony admitted that being an ardent follower of Ebony and listening to her music on a daily pushed her more to believe she can also do music.
“I was a great fan of her, I went for her concert in 2017 and through that, I met Bullet.
She inspired me to do music, particular Afro-Beat. She made music so easy and always felt I can do same.” Wendy Shay said in an exclusive interview inter with Spice FM’s Yoofi Eyson
Ebony died in a gruesome road accident that occurred one Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.
