Ghana’s representative in this year’s CAF Confederations Cup, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have qualified for the ‘money zone’ of the continental competition after a 2:1 home win over Cameroonian side Coton Sport in the second leg playoffs.

Spot kick specialist, Amos Frimpong drew first blood for the home side converting beautifully from the spot kick giving Kotoko the lead at half time.

Maxwell Baakoh doubled the lead for the porcupines in the Second half before Oumarou Sali grabbing a consolation for the away side at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The results meant that Kotoko have progress to the ‘money zone’ on a 5-3 aggregate, after winning the first leg in Yaounde by three goals to two.
